About the Role

Responsibilities

As the Engineering Manager, Data Analytics, you will take charge of the core end-to-end analytics team at NewsBreak, from rapid-response business intelligence to advanced experimentation & causal inference to the company-wide, self-service analytics platform. You will be responsible for:

• Driving and democratizing insights about our core businesses;
• Working cross-functionally with products, operations and engineering leaders to set business strategy;
• Driving bottom-line business impact.

To achieve this, you'll scale the data team, up-level the team's capabilities through an emphasis on product analytics, experimentation, and platform capabilities, and drive a culture of excellence via functional practices and deep knowledge of what great looks like.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in at least 3 of the 4 following areas: product analytics, experimentation, analytics platforms, and/or user research.
• 5+ years of management experience and instincts, including working with cross-functional, cross regional teams and managing managers.

• Demonstrate strategic and tactical abilities across long-range strategic planning, medium-term OKRs, and driving short-term execution.

• Strong analytical and/or quantitative background.
