Gridware is on a mission to create a future without deadly wildfires. We’re a startup building hardware and software that monitors the power grid to prevent and detect faults that lead to wildfire ignition. (More about Gridware below).

To make that happen, we’re currently looking for a Data Analyst to help us identify, analyze, and interpret trends from the data collected by our fleet of devices.

WHY do we need you?

We’re at an exciting point where we deployed our first fleet of power grid monitoring devices to customers and, as an early team member, you will have the opportunity to set the foundation of cutting-edge operational center that monitors the US power-grid and to act as the first line of defense in detecting powerline faults that might lead to wildfires. The operation center main objectives are to monitor Gridware devices on the field to ensure reliability and to report anomalies across 15+ data streams.

Responsibilities

This is what you’ll be doing:

  • Monitor the health of devices and report any anomalies or issues.
  • Investigate and analyze real-time data for potential alerts/faults, following the established models built by the science team at Gridware.
  • Create real-time, and daily reports for different alerts observed.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on development and testing
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties without supervision
  • Basic understanding of data analytics and anomaly detection
