Job Description

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern, Researcher/Analyst to join our team based in Informa’s San Francisco office. Our semiconductor research team is recognized by the industry as one of largest and top independent market research teams, and is made up of colleagues from varying backgrounds located across the globe. As a member of the semiconductor research team, you’ll be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research, provide key insights on market trends and help to form a long term outlook on the industry. In this role, you will: 

  • Own and deliver value-adding projects in service of the semiconductor research team’s strategy and objectives 

  • Support with ad hoc requests as needed 

  • Provide a fresh perspective on department processes and procedures  

  • Participate in Internship Program activities including onboarding, information sessions, and social events 

 

Qualifications

  • Legally permitted to work in the United States 

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university 

  • Minimum of two years of relevant coursework completed 

  • Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and possess the ability to quickly learn new software/platforms 

  • Ability to be analytical, solve problems and recommendation viable solutions 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with others 

  • Ability to move quickly, keep projects on track, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
