We now have an exciting opportunity for a well rounded analytical thinker to lead a Data Analytics team. We are looking for someone with a background in a big tech company and motivated to solve strategic and high impact problems with the power of data.
This role works closely with the business and the digital teams to come up with solutions to our biggest customer and operational challengs.

The role & responsibilities:

  • You will take complex data into meaningful insights for leadership to make well-informed business decisions
  • Enjoy full end-to-end responsibility of running projects and solving problems
  • Manage a team of Data Analysts and be responsible for their career development
  • Help to develop and define the vision, strategy and roadmap for our wider Analytics team
  • Proactively engage with internal and external partners to assess existing and upcoming business needs
  • Design, develop, and support robust business reporting, visualization, and a range of analytical models (Prescriptive, Predictive, Diagnostic, Descriptive)
  • Collaborate with business partners across Marketing, Operations, Sourcing, Product, Payments, Finance, Culinary, Data Science and Data Engineering to craft improvements in reporting, analytics, and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD degree in Math, Data Science, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experienced people manager who has effectively managed high performing talent, managed employees in different locations and contributed to department talent planning
  • Significant and demonstrated experience in programming languages such as Python and SQL (or similar ones) and analytics tools such as Looker and Snowflake (or similar ones)
  • Knows and applies data visualization principles consistently resulting in clear and consistent outcomes
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive
  • Fluent in English
