Data Engineer I

Data Infrastructure teams are responsible for enabling the entire organization in the ingestion, validation, transformation and utilization of all applicable data for the development of better products and experiences for our customers. They do so by laying the required infrastructure, providing the means to interact with data pipelines, and ensuring its reliability and availability.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong programming foundations who is passionate about data and infrastructure, while highly aware of security requirements and best practices, having to constantly balance between empowering the rapid growth of a Startup and the demands of working in the Finance Sector.
The ideal candidate is passionate about mentoring and supporting other software engineers, and is comfortable collaborating with different teams to accomplish their team's goals.
Enjoy building products using different technologies, as well as scaling them up using cloud computing.
Ability to transform requirements into working software in production. Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team. Ability to make decisions based on tradeoffs between business, product and technology. Ability to undertake and lead medium to complex projects that require multiple iterations and may involve different technologies.Experience troubleshooting and debugging problems. Strong experience in Software Engineering: How a good Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is organized. How the non-functional requirements are part of delivering a solution. Experience on the different types of testing and their importance in the SDLC.
