We are now looking for both Data Scientists, engineers and researchers within AI/ML to support a project in Abu Dhabi. 

Job Description

These AI researchers, scientists, and engineers collaborate to ensure innovative outcomes, from AI theory to AI technologies towards better intelligence.

As a researcher in this field your tasks may include:
·       Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of distributed machine learning to propose new models and algorithms in the edge
·       Work on Academic and Industrial level optimization models
·       Independently plan and carry out research on the nominated research projects and work towards achievement of the objectives of the project
·       Publish research papers in top journals and conferences
·       Contribute to technology transfers through the implementation of the research findings into proof of concept (PoC) according to the research needs
·       Participate in the development of distributed machine learning platforms and open-source communities
·       Collaborate with our partners internally and externally around the world to achieve the center’s goals

Qualifications

·       A Ph.D. degree in machine learning or a related field with at least 3 years experience post PhD
·       Mature research skills in machine learning or distributed/federated machine learning
·       A good track record of publications in top journals and conferences
·       Experience in developing new algorithms or system-algorithm co-design for federated or distributed learning
·       Solve research challenges in the presence of real constraints, e.g., hardware/system heterogeneity, data volatility, communication constraints, etc. in the context of distributed learning
·       Have good exposure to platforms like PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
·       An industry experience within the field of machine learning is advantageous
