We are Applied Machine Learning & AI (AMEG). 

We build high performing, scalable and operational ML/AI empowered software products and capabilities. 

We partner with SIE products and business to design targeted and practical ML/AI strategy and capability roadmap to support and boost their respective business vision and goals through accelerated and broadened value creation. We execute the roadmap by bridging state of the art innovations (internal & external) and practical business use cases.

We enable and connect broader ML/AI community, by helping evolving the ML platform, developing common enabling frameworks, and publishing best practice guidelines.

Responsibilities

An intern will be a part of our scrum team working on a standalone ML project with scopes ranging from recommendation to speech recognition. 

By the end of the internship, the followings will be delivered: 

• Data Exploration and Analysis

• Modeling Building

• Offline Evaluation and/or Online evaluation

• Model Performance Optimization

• Productization plan

• Technical presentation and demo\

Qualifications

• Projected to graduate in 2024

• Pursuing a graduate degree in engineering, data science with a specialization in machine learning or equivalent technical degree

• Self-driver and ability to accomplish end-to-end task with minimum supervision

• Strong Machine Learning and Statistics knowledge

• Strong coding skill and software engineering knowledge

• Eagerness to participate in and contribute to Machine Learning community, framework and best practices

• Industry experience in large scale distributed Machine Learning system is a big plus
