Job Description

We’re looking for a driven and passionate Computer Vision Engineer to anchor our vision team.  We have several projects in hand that need vision including a palletizing robot arm and visual pattern recognition.  Get a chance to see your CV project come to life in the real World.

Key initiatives include:

• Develop software for determining the exact position of products on a pallet to guide a picking arm
• Sensor selection and integration
• Develop software for localizing the robot from QR codes 
• Develop VISLAM system for our mobile robots
• R&D on new methods of obstacle avoidance and navigation using various visual sensors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of job experience with OpenCV or similar library
• Have examples of projects with object recognition, edge detection, object classification
• BS or higher in Computer Science, Automation, Mathematics or related field
• 1+ years of experience in machine learning or deep learning
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and software design
• Interest or experience in one or more of the following fields:  pattern recognition, signal processing, controls, numerical methods, computational geometry
• Experience with ROS (moveit, tf2, etc...) / Gazebo / rviz
• Linux development familiarity

Preferred Qualifications

• C/C++ experience
• Experience with palletizing arm project
