About the role 

Due to our business growth we are looking for a new data analyst to join our People Team.  

As well as being great with handling data and reporting, you should be confident at engaging with stakeholders to identify requirements and discuss results. 

The role will be primarily working on projects to support our Customer Teams. In addition to working with colleagues in Customer Services,  you will also be working closely with the People Business Partners and our People Operations team. 

As part of our strategy to provide our people with a great environment to grow, we have an active plan of evaluating our systems and processes. This role will take a part in ensuring that new programmes are introduced in the most time effective, accurate and sustainable way possible and be involved in system setup and migration of our people data. 

The successful candidate will also be part of the wider People Team so will have the opportunity to be part of the regular weekly and monthly meetings and socials. 

What you'll do 

  • Collating employee data from People Systems
  • Provision of data analysis using different reporting platforms
  • Work with key stakeholders both within the People Team and the wider business to identify analytical needs
  • Support the People Team by answering data queries and providing technical knowledge
  • Creating monthly dashboards and reporting
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of data held within our People systems and work with People Operations to drive improvement

About you

  • A background in or genuine interest in working in an HR environment 
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • Comfortable with using HRIS and/or Payroll Systems and use of Bamboo, Resourcelink, SmartRecruiters or Looker would be advantageous. 
  • Experience of using Google Suite and/or Excel to manipulate and analyse data
  • Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
  • A willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with a friendly and approachable attitude, and strong teamwork skills;
  • Excellent organisational, time management skills and ability to prioritise own workload;
  • Ability to perform tasks under pressure and balance many tasks simultaneously;
  • Motivation to get stuck in with new projects;
  • Flexibility and adaptability – the responsibilities and priorities for this role may change on a regular basis!
