In your role as Planning Manager, you will be responsible for our fleet shift planning and scheduling optimization initiatives, ensuring rider supply meets demand as efficiently as possible - which will be a key driver for unit economics and sustainable growth.
Job Description
- You will oversee our set of workforce management solutions, including our scheduling tool as well as internally developed data products, such as our Forecasting and Scheduling Optimization models. In this effort, you will be the main point of contact between Ops and Data Science teams
- You will conceptualize and coordinate the implementation of a variety of workforce management initiatives, whether they are related to Product, reporting or process changes
- You will empower local operations teams with reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis
- You will conduct regular performance reviews with local operations teams, understand issues and concerns regarding suggested/actual scheduling, and align together on action plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, IT, Finance or similar area
- You have at least 2 years of work experience in a quantitative field - e.g. consulting, operations (capacity planning experience is a plus)
- Very good working knowledge of SQL
- Previous experience working with R, or Python and common data libraries
- Experience with Python, unstructured data, machine learning techniques are advantageous
- Good knowledge of MS Office, specially Excel
