Senior Data Engineer

We are expanding our Teams and, although we don’t care much about titles, we call this role Senior Data Engineer. The key requirements for the position are experience both with building data products and with managing the end-to-end cycle of a data solution, from initial technical conversations with the client to proposal building.

What will you do?

• Work on challenging data solution for Plain Concepts customers.
• Meet with our potential customers, identifying their needs by performing technical consultancy and developing the right proposal/PoC.
• You will work on Data analytical projects with end to end solutions, creating ETLs from multiple distributed data sources to visualize the data in the semantic layer of the solution.
• Work with our reseller partners to aid them and support them with the technical proposals.
• Delivering training and workshops for our customers.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• Strong technical knowledge of modern software data platforms, especially Databricks.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft’s Azure.
• Experience working with customers’ requirements and their technical proposals.
• Excellent communication skills both in English and Spanish.
• Experience working with Scrum methodology.
• Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology.
• Constant desire to learn about the product and technological innovations.
• Team player with ability to cooperate and to work within the different teams
