ML Engineer

As a ML Engineer your primary job will be implementing machine learning and processing solutions.

What you will be doing as a Lead ML Engineer at iOLAP? 

• Delivering a ML/DL project from beginning to end
• Leveraging ETL tools to analyse, extract, normalize relevant data
• Studying and transforming data science prototypes
• Researching and implementing appropriate ML algorithms and tools
• Developing machine learning applications according to requirements
• Selecting appropriate datasets and data representation methods
• Running machine learning tests and experiments
• Extending existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Managing and supporting team members
• Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project delivery

We build with: 

Competencies and skillset we expect you to have to successfully perform your job:  

• Proficiency in developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, Scala, Python, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL and PySpark with experience optimizing code
• Experience in using core ML libraries (Keras, TensorFlow, Pytorch, MxNet etc.)
• Hands-on administration experience, from setting up environments for various tools to successfully administering it (AWS preferred)
• Experience working with AWS cloud platform (Lambda, S3, C2, EMR, Dynamo DB, ML instances, etc.)
• Demonstrable skills in CV or NLP data preparation and pipeline implementation
• Technical fluency in data science lifecycle methodologies
• Experience with model deployment: containers, microservices, and serverless functions
• Strong validation, unit test, and debugging skills
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
