Duties & Role:

Under the direction of the Acquisition Head of Business Applications, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:

  • Deliver master data management services on vendor's data, including the aspects related to the use of eProcurement capability by suppliers;
  • Implements supplier service improvement actions and programmes;
  • Supports the local internal Customers with ERP procurement related issues;
  • Provides high quality and timely contribution to ACQ and NCI Agency reporting, primarily using ERP built-in reports or Business Intelligence capability;
  • Keeps the line manager informed of problems and concerns;
  • Deputizes for higher grade staff;
  • Performs any other duties as may be required

Requirements

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

Mandatory

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience;
  • Knowledge of monitoring and maintaining all required financial records for compliance and audit to all agreed requirements;
  • Knowledge of using appropriate methods and tools in the development, maintenance, control and distribution of quality and environmental standards.

Desirable

  • Experience in automated data processing tools;
  • Experience of monitoring and reporting on supplier performance, information security, customer satisfaction, and market intelligence when appropriate;
  • Demonstrated capacity to exercise strong judgement in advising unit leadership, setting priorities, and executing requirements;
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheet and word processing tools;
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing;
  • Knowledge of NATO policies, rules, regulations, procedures, particularly Procurement but also Personnel, Contracting and Financial;
  • Knowledge and/or experience with customer funding;
  • Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
  • Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
