Research Intern - Machine Learning

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Research Intern - Machine Learning to join us for our Summer 2023 Internship program.

Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in cutting-edge research, with the potential for published results
• Build deployable and scalable systems that solve real-world problems
• Be paired with a “lab buddy”, who will encourage and support your professional growth
• Contribute to the open-source armory project
• Present an end-of-internship project 

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS, EE, Math, Computer Engineering ,Statistics or a related field
• Familiar with a modern programming language; C++, Python, and JavaScript preferred but also interested in BASH, CSS, Java, Haskell,and R
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret clearance
• Must have experience or coursework with at least ONE of the following:
• Applying machine learning libraries or algorithms to natural language processing, computer vision, or data visualization
• Implementation of software design patterns, such as an application user or program interface(API)
• Scalable deployments of machine learning and data processing tools, such as Amazon S3, Apache Spark, Google TensorFlow, or Microsoft CNTK
• Fundamental understanding of developer tools(git, vim, vscode, etc.), systems architecture, networking, and containerization/virtualization(docker, podman, kubernetes)
• Familiar with application analysis, reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or capability development(memory corruption, rootkits, MetaSploit, nmap, etc.)
• Programming language theory, formal methods, constraint solving, or mathematical logic
