Job Description

Western Digital, a global data storage development corporate located in Kfar Saba, is looking for an Data Engineer - SQL Developer.

Department which supports decision making of executive in sales and marketing , and working in collaboration with various departments: sales, marketing, operational, finance, IT etc.

In this position you will extract data from various data source systems, transforming it into the staging area, and loading it into a data warehouse or operational data store to create a single version of truth and enable access to all business data from one place.

You will also work on performance optimization and implement alert/reporting for data issue findings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field - a big advantage
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong program skill, writing complex SQL queries, query optimization, query performance monitoring tools and validation/ alerts techniques
• Experience in data issues findings by reverse engineering and error handling
• Understanding data modeling and data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.)
• Experience in Performance tuning, optimizations, exceptional troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Self-leaner with flexible thinking to handle issues and come with creative solution.
• English - high level
