Founded in 2017, we are building new concepts and groundbreaking solutions for autonomous vehicles to ensure goods are transported between business locations both efficiently and affordably in city environments.

What to Expect

  • We are looking for a highly motivated supervisors to help us manage, test, and improve performance to ensure success of our fleet vehicles ranging in size from class 3 to 6 delivery vehicles by managing our AVOs (Autonomous Vehicle Operators) in their day-to-day activity in running routes to transport dry, refrigerated, and/or frozen cargo, obtain data, and identify and fix technical and mechanical issues.
  • You're a valuable contributor, providing daily guidance and support to your AVO team including necessary feedback to site management, operations supervisors, fleet maintenance, and engineering teams aimed at improving our groundbreaking automated driving technology while meeting customers’ product delivery needs.

As the Supervisor to our Autonomous Vehicle Operators, you will...Coordinate team to ensure on-time and in-full customer deliveries

  • Effectively listen, communicate, and support your AVOs
  • Conduct ride-along trips with AVOs to evaluate performance, train and analyze behaviors aligned to safety, quality, and customer service support
  • Review, audit, and set standards for staff
  • Conduct staff meetings and walk team through performance data and communication of priorities
  • Interview, select and train new team members
  • Design work schedules
  • Manage staff schedules to optimize hours and reduce or monitor overtime usage
  • Approve staff hours and validate payroll hours accuracy

Document internal data and communications on AVO performance

  •  Audit and analyze data inputs in spreadsheets and other reports
  • Update daily, shift data including vehicle and AVO audits
  • Document AVO performance; coach, motivate, and counsel when necessary Prepare agenda, meeting notes, and communications for internal team meetings 
  • Track, input, analyze, and report data from operations-related software applications

Support Internal Teams

  •  Actively participate in weekly management meetings
  • Communicate results, issues, or concerns to all team members
  • Support teams after hours to address AVO, site or customer concerns

Coordinate AVO activity related to safety and maintenance of all people, products, and our State-of-the Art vehicles

  • Reinforce, monitor, and exhibit safety behaviors with staff
  • Track completion against vehicle maintenance schedule to ensure services are completed on time
  • Inspect and monitor pre and post shift vehicle inspections
  • Conduct vehicle audits for any mechanical, physical or component issues, and report for support 

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong leadership and management skills including people and customer relationship management experience
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Valid US driver's license, clean driving record and safe driving habits (CDL license is preferred)
  • Clean background check, drug screen and DMV Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to operate trucks in our fleet (generally, Class 3 to Class 6 vehicles) 
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including taking action after scheduled shift
  • Ability to be meticulous, organized, and proactive
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude and basic mechanical skills is desirable
  • Strong computer skills including the ability to learn and successfully use applications and technologies (Google Suite experience is preferred) 
  • Previous relevant experience is a plus (auto, technology, engineering, technician, etc.)
