Brief Description:The Data Analyst II will work on the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team which is responsible for establishing practices to enable the correct handling and usage of inventory data across the global business in order to protect the franchise.
The Data Analyst II will work closely with various teams to implement efficient operational processes and ensure controls are in place.
The Data Analyst II will involve maintaining and improving existing data processes and driving forward new challenging projects.   

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders (Data Owners, Data Architecture and Product) to maintain the enterprise data dictionary, product catalog and other metadata activities.
  • Create greater transparency around our products by collaborating with stakeholders to implement product KPI dashboards (sales, costs, product events, usage and return on investment). These KPIs will help drive insights and analysis around our global products driving strategic decisions and business practices.
  • Participate and shape strategic initiatives with Data Architecture on metadata management and workflow. 
  • Work with EDG and other teams to ensure policies and procedures are well documented and maintained.

Education:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst II in data, banking, insurance or similar industry and knowledge of how to navigate the corporate environment.
  • Self-starter who doesn’t need to rely on being told what to do at each stage of implementing process changes.
  • Highly organized. Ability to coordinate effectively across multi-national teams whose priorities may be different from what is being asked.
  • Data mining and analytical skills essential around large data sets, databases and systems. Detailed orientated with the ability to see the “bigger picture”.
  • Business visualization experience and creating comprehensive dashboards. For example, tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Google Looker etc.
  • SQL, scripting experience, and Excel experience highly desirable.
