Job Description

• Conceive new deep learning algorithms, concepts, and models for distributed AI approaches
• Outside-the-box-thinking, prototyping experiments and simulations in Python
• Developing distributed learning tools and libraries to streamline research
• Take existing industry standard deep learning approaches and reframe them as a distributed learning problem
• Reproducing and verifying state-of-the-art research publications
• Communicating your work to expert and novice audiences

Qualifications

• Strong background in deep learning, Pytorch/Tensorflow are critical.
• Practical AI optimizing/problem solving/troubleshooting experience.
• Any degree is considered (Bachelors, Masters, PhD). Skills and experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EECS, or related field will be prioritized.
•  2+ years of relevant research and software development experience
• Strong technical inclination and computer science background: experience with writing code from scratch and Linux knowledge, being able to design and optimize on high and low levels.
• Experience with applied research and/or academia: Reading/writing academic papers, familiarity with a scientifically-minded workflow, communication skill

Credential Bonus 

• Knowledge of information theory and wireless communication principles.
• Experience writing custom deep learning layers, losses, optimizer classes
• Experience with tiny machine learning, AI on microcontrollers, practical AI compression
• Strong mathematics skills
• C++ (or similar) and debugging experience
• LaTeX document drafting
•  Version control frameworks (Git, SVN)
