Job Description
We are looking for students who are currently in their MSc or PhD program, passionate about research in reinforcement learning, and excited about the possibility of applying RL to self-driving cars, robotics, recommender systems, network control, and beyond.
This role involves working close with experienced researchers to design state-of-the-art deep reinforcement learning algorithms that has the potential to be applied to real world challenges, to evaluate them both with common benchmarking suites and with agents in internal simulated environments as well as potentially with real cars and robots, and to publish the research results at top tier conferences.
Qualifications
- Suitable research background in artificial intelligence;
- Advanced research experience in deep learning and reinforcement learning a plus;
- Working toward a post-graduate degree with a concentration on artificial intelligence, robotics, reinforcement learning, deep learning, or related field;
- Hands-on experience with common deep reinforcement learning algorithms (DQN, DDPG, PPO, etc);
- Proficiency in common programming languages (such as Python, C/C++, etc.);
- Experience with one or more mainstream deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, MXNet, Torch, PyTorch and Keras a plus.
