What will you be doing?

• You be responsible for analyzing datasets to contribute towards design.  
• Translating business and functional requirements to technical specifications. 
• You will work closely with the rest of data engineering team to identify, evaluate, design, and implement data solutions.
• You'll work iteratively on the cloud platform to contribute to the design of scalable, high performance solutions that offer measurable business value to Pythian's customers.
• Analyze the existing dataset to contribute towards design
• Stored procedure creation for data transformation leveraging Big Query
• Creation of views from source to destination projects in GCP
• Reverse engineering of physical data models and SQL Scripts to create technical specs
• Reviewing and evaluating developed data outputs to ensure it conforms to business and technical requirements.

• Be able to communicate with the Pythian's customers and translate functional/business to technical requirements and specifications.
• Have a strong analytical skill set
• Strong knowledge & coding skills in SQL
• Have an solid understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Extract Load Transform (ELT), and stored procedure creation for data transformation.
• Good understand of traditional RDBMS systems and/or large scale data.
• Experience of large scale data on cloud (ideally Google Cloud Platform with knowledge of Big Query)
• Understands database schemas, data flow diagrams, and data specifications.
• Understands source systems and the common business and technical keys.
