Job Description

The Display & Paid Social team for Wayfair Canada partners with major platforms such as Meta, Google, Yahoo! and LiveIntent to grow our active customer base through targeted marketing activities across the full funnel of the customer journey. This is inclusive of prospecting (increasing customer exposure to our brand, our assortment and our value) and retargeting (growing our existing customer base through revenue, emerging category awareness and promoting greater customer lifetime value). The role will essentially act as a channel manager to drive growth for the Canadian market through a balanced, but comprehensive, portfolio of ad campaigns in successful cross-collaboration with Ad Tech, Data Science and Creative teams to deliver a world-class, fit-for-platform, personalized ad experience to all our Canadian customers.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with a team and set of cross-functional partners that are global, caring, smart, driven, and nimble to formulate, prioritize, and execute against major strategic initiatives to deliver channel growth.
  • Manage the multi-million dollar Display and Paid Social channels for Wayfair Canada across multiple digital advertising platforms to win the point of sale and maximize lifetime value by owning strategy, execution, and performance.
  • Serve as an expert on combined Retargeting and Prospecting performance and strategy for Wayfair Canada, charting a course on how customer acquisition and retention can work in tandem.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams to own creative strategy for our channel. Design and A/B test new creative, landing experiences, and game-changing program initiatives.
  • Build strategic partnerships with external advertising platforms and explore opportunities to grow your channel through emerging features and functionality.
  • Leverage deep analytics to root out trends and develop data-driven solutions to complex business problems.
  • Analyze and monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and make optimizations to drive ROI; react to deviations from plans quickly and strategically.
  • Collaborate with Ad Tech, Data Science, Engineering, Storefront, and Business Intelligence to architect uniquely innovative and value-additive Canada-centric solutions that enhance business value and customer delight.

What You'll Need 

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, finance, and/or strategy with an analytical emphasis.
  • A total ownership mindset - ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action and a “get stuff done” attitude.
  • Excellent critical thinking and stakeholder management skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong quantitative analytics with a technical lean - ability to generate insights and solutions or build a story and strategy from large data sets.
  • Holistic results/growth orientation married with entrepreneurial thinking and an insatiable intellectual curiosity - a relentless focus on driving impact and continuous improvement
