The salary range for this position is (contract of employment)

Mid: 12 300 - 17 600 PLN gross

Senior: 16 100 - 23 200 PLN gross

Within the area of Data & AI, we handle projects based on the practical application of data science and artificial intelligence on an unprecedented scale in Poland. Data & AI is made up of over 100 experienced BigData engineers working in over a dozen teams with different fields of expertise. Some of them develop dedicated tools to create and activate BigData processing, or to implement ML models for the entire organisation. Others tend to work closer to the client, being responsible for the search engine, developing recommendations, building buyers’ profiles or enhancing the experimental platform. There are also research team whose task is to seek solutions for unconventional problems that require the application of machine learning.

We are looking for people who:

• can and like to program in the following languages: Java or Scala

• have experience in the Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Druid)

• Have knowledge of GCP (Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery, Pubsub) will be an additional advantage

• use good practices (clean code, code review, TDD, CI / CD)

• work efficiently in systems from the Unix / Linux family

• are interested in using ML / AI

• have a positive attitude and teamwork skills

• want to develop and update their knowledge
