Job Description
MANGOPAY continues to grow at an incredible pace. The Data Team needs a Senior Data Analyst to help us deploy our data strategy and bring data to the next level.
She/He will be part of our BI & Data Science team, already composed of three colleagues and managed by the Lead BI & Data Science.
The Senior Data Analyst is someone who knows how to identify business issues and find a way to answer them based on data. You will be responsible, accompanied by the Data Team, for improving the data analytics and BI offer. On one hand, performing functional analysis means that you are able to speak the finance, marketing and compliance language, on the other, you should be technically capable to perform data analysis and visualization in order to create business value for the company.
We’re currently implementing a new data platform, where the stack includes: Snowflake and Databricks.
Responsibilities
Technical Requirements:
Identify and create a synergy between the different data sources in the company
Continuously improve and enhance the performance, quality, capabilities, and functional coverage of analytics solutions
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis
Prepare data, realize tests and perform data validations to ensure the respect of the quality and security requirements
Work with the other data analysts to develop and accelerate our projects.
Functional Requirements:
Conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to data business problems
Understanding client needs and being able to translate them to data analyses or new data projects
Perform, automate and optimize reports for regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years Data Analytics experience (business performance oriented)
Required skills:
Strong analytical (statistics, hypothesis testing, …) skills
Skills of working with data: gathering, preparation, data quality evaluation and monitoring
Strong technical skills of Big Data/NoSQL ecosystems and ability to program in SQL and/or Python/PySpark
Nice to have:
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Snowflake
Databricks
