Job Description

Today, we would like to strengthen our teams with an ETL Engineer

The candidate should be an acknowledged technical expert with a strong experience with Microsoft Integration Services. He will be part of data flows migration project with the objective to suggest improvements for job’s orchestration and the monitoring of the platform. 

  • Migrate source code from TFS to Git 
  • Orchestrate data flows with Enterprise Job Scheduler 
  • Develop Data observability and monitoring  
  • Improve standards and best practices already in place 
  • Support technical team in the request and incident management 
  • Collaborate with project manager during Plan and Build phase 
  • Ensure transition between project and operational maintenance     

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science. 
  • 10+ years of experience. 
  • At least 8 years as ETL developer using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). 
  • Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is an asset 
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server with SQL and T-SQL developments. 
  • Good knowledge with BIML framework. 
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (Build and Release) and GIT. 
  • Good knowledge of Enterprise job Scheduler (Control-M, JAMS, …) 
  • Extensive knowledge on Datawarehouse, Master Data Management, Data acquisition mechanisms and Data Quality. 
  • First experience with Azure Cloud technologies like Azure Data Factory is an asset. 
  • Experienced with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFE). 
  • Good knowledge of French and English (written and spoken).
