Data Engineer (Remote)

MEMX is looking for a passionate, self-motivated and hard-working Data Engineer to join a fast paced and highly technical team. You will collaborate across many different functions who are end users of the data platform. You will contribute to innovative analytics and data utilization projects that will continue to differentiate MEMX from the competition and support regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining queries.
• Developing and maintaining operational dashboards.
• General Administration of Data Platform software and servers.
• Generation and submission of reports.
• Resolving data platform issues.
• Scripting and building automation tools
• Partner with Operation, Dev, Member Experience team and others to understand data requirements

• Design, build and launch extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data across a number of platforms to meet daily and monthly reporting requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience in software development, data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or related field with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.

• Programming experience in building high quality software.
• Java experience preferred
• Linux Scripting Experience
• SQL Experience

• Experience with designing and implementing real-time pipelines
• Experience with data quality and validation
• Experience designing data schemas
• 1+ year(s) of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Demonstrate ability to work well independently and within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to work across diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams
