Senior Data Scientist - Experimentation Platform

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to for the Experimentation Platform team. The Experimentation team’s mission is to develop a general platform to support A/B testing and causal inference across our product and operational units. As a data scientist you will be responsible for developing the statistical methodologies that sit at the heart of the platform to enable accurate, sound, and scalable statistical inference for diverse use cases such as website consumer experiences, marketing, seller tools, and more. The systems that you build will be critical and have outsized impact in our ability to test and measure innovations across the entire company for years to come.

We would like to see:

• 6+ years of industry experience in data science and analytics 
• Degree in statistics and significant relevant experience 
• Strong skills in hypothesis testing and experiment design 
• Experience with scripting and data science oriented programming language such as Python or R 
• Passion for data exploration and strong business sense  
• Expertise in SQL 
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; data pipeline tools such as Airflow are nice to have
