Who We Are 

Coupang Eats is a new service by Coupang where we deliver quality food and beverages from restaurants and cafes to your door. We build the Customer app, Store app, Courier app, websites for Stores and operations center. We struggle to provide a fast and seamless delivery Customer experience for all three parties involved. As part of product engineering organization, we 

• Owns end to end Eats service 
• Build this ecosystem with exciting tech stacks. 
  - Cloud Native (AWS), MSA, Spring boot, WebFlux, Reactive JS, Vue JS, CSS3, HTML5, JPA, Elastic stack, Docker, Kafka, Redis, MySQL, Cassandra, native mobile development. 
• Obsesses over site reliability to guarantee an effortless shopping experience 
• Is truly global, with teams located at Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing and Bay area
• Our vision is to build a trusted eCommerce platform by obsessing over reliable and effortless shopping experience, through a highly productive engineering team 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Masters or PhDs in Statistics, Operations Research, CS or a quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years of work experience in application of machine learning/deep learning techniques to solvepractical business problems. 5+ years of professional experience in such areas is preferred.
• Programming experience using Python/R to manipulate data, develop algorithms/models, and drawinsights from large data sets.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new techniques and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal; ability to present data and its implications in a clear and concise manner. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Knowledge and experience with distributed data computing tools, such as Hive, Spark 
• Knowledge and experience with Java and Python
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc

기본 자격요건:  

• 통계학, 운용과학, CS 및 정량 분석 관련 학위 이상 소지하신 분
• 실제 비즈니스 문제를 해결하기 위해 머신러닝 및 딥러닝 기술을 적용해본 업무 경험. 해당 분야의 최소 3년 이상 전문 경력이 있는 분
• Python/R 등의 프로그래밍을 통해 데이터 조작, 알고리즘 및 모델 개발, 대규모 데이터 세트에서 통찰력 도출해본 경험이 있는 분
• SQL 숙련도가 있는 분
• 영어로 커뮤니케이션이 가능하신 분(서면 및 구두)
• 강력한 분석 및 문제 해결 능력을 갖고 있는 분
• 빠르게 변화하는 환경에서 새로운 기술 습득 및 업무 기한을 준수할 수 있는 분
• 데이터와 그 시사점을 명확하고 간결하게 표현하는 능력이 있는 분

우대 사항: 

• Python에 대한 숙련도 혹은 Java에 대한 지식 및 경험이 있는 분
• 통계학, 운용과학, CS 및 정량 분석 관련 석사 및 박사 학위가 있는 분
• Hive, Spark와 같은 분산 데이터 컴퓨팅 도구에 대한 지식 및 경험이 있는 분
• Tableau, PowerBI 등 데이터 시각화 도구 사용 경험이 있는 분
