Senior Data Analyst

We’re looking for an Analyst to join our growing data function here at ClearScore Canada. Analytics plays a central role in what we do, from using insights derived from bureau data to help our users to improve their credit scores and their finances, to helping our partners to manage credit risk and offer the best products to our customers. As an analyst, you’ll be responsible for using data to drive the business strategy forward.

Location: Downtown Toronto

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with complex datasets such as behavioural data and credit bureau data to derive insights and personalisation for our users and our partners
• Delving into different areas of the product, from marketing to commercial, to support the business and understand the impact of internal and external drivers on performance
• Setting up, running, and analysing on-site experiments
• Identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities and areas for growth
• Creating and maintaining reporting across the business, and supporting the wider team to self-serve their data needs

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of analytical experience
• Strong SQL coding skills and analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to synthesise complex analysis into a salient summary of the key points
• Aptitude and passion for statistics/mathematics. Most of our analysts have good degrees in STEM subjects or economics, but we are looking for aptitude rather than education
• Able to tie analysis back to business delivery
• Curiosity and an excitement to learn and grow as a data geek
