Position Responsibilities:
- Participates in research and development (R&D) of advanced computing technologies.
- Investigates and documents emerging technology trends and products.
- Assists in customer consultations.
- Delivers major system components for a deployment effort.
- Contributes to R&D proposals. Influences colleagues and direct customers to use appropriate computational tools and processes.
- Optimizes and tunes data pipelines for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Designs, builds, and launches collections of sophisticated data models and visualizations that support use cases across different products or domains.
- Optimizes pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts.
- Designs, builds and launches efficient & reliable data pipelines to move and transform data (both large and small amounts)
- Securely sources external data from numerous partners
- Intelligently designs data models for optimal storage and retrieval
- Deploys inclusive data quality checks to ensure high quality of data
- Optimizes existing pipelines and maintain of all domain-related data pipelines
- Ownership of the end-to-end data ecosystem
- Works in collaboration with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of data platforms.
- Drives the adoption of modern data management practices, tools, and technologies within the organization
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to work 2 days a week onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience writing software for data services
- 3+ years of experience developing data pipelines
- 3+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical major (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)
- Experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience in data science, quantitative research science or data analytics
Typical Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary Pay Range: Seattle, Washington: $113,050 - $152,950| Arlington, VA: $113,050 - $152,950| Philadelphia, PA: $113,050 - $152,950| Hazelwood, MO: $105,400 - $142,600
