Engineering Intern

The Position

We are seeking an Industrial Automation Engineering Intern to join our team. This role will report to our Principal Engineer. The ideal candidate should be proficient in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate industrial processes. This role is based in New York, NY.

What you get to do 

• Build an LLM for customized reactor kinetics. 
• Build an ML model based on AIR COMPANY’s structured research data.

What you bring to AIR COMPANY

• Currently obtaining a Computer science or other related degree (or graduate looking for a temporary position)
• Experience in MQTT and OPC UA protocols for seamless communication and integration across diverse systems
• Familiarity with Open Process Automation (OPA) standards is required to ensure adherence to industry best practices and interoperability. 
• Experience in utilizing OpenAI's array of models for advanced analytics and decision-making would be advantageous

Salary Range: $20-$25/hr
