Title: Analyst - Material Master Data and Supply Chain Planning

Location: Bangalore – Electronic City

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

In this position you are responsible for managing the finished goods planning parameters that drive our global supply chain and support the network planning teams around the world.

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

You process the audits to ensure the key supply chain settings are maintained in line with templates agreed with the responsible planners and other stakeholders.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Roles related to the logistics of raw materials, finished products and parts.
  • Activities focus on inventory management, material handling and planning, logistics and delivery to the customers.
  • Includes the development and implementation of policies and processes, and developing supply chain designs, models, and processes.
  • Includes jobs which are not directly specialized in one of the other defined supply chain job families or which are fully responsible for the whole functional area.
  • Perform routing assignments using existing procedures or even work autonomously within established procedure and practices that require knowledge of concepts and procedure within a job discipline or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process.
  • Accountable for the quality of own work. Receives clear instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or even solves problems of low complexity independently by identifying and selecting solutions and by analyzing information.
  • Audit and QM coordinator for all standard activities of the group.
  • Design and develop improvement plan of the delivery times which are vital to support our global sales and service levels.
  • Frequent communication to global replenishment & planning groups, warehouse locations, material master and sales & marketing teams is essential.
  • Supporting the development of audits to ensure the key supply chain settings are maintained in line with the templates agreed with the responsible planners and other stakeholders.
  • You will be collaborating with our European team members in supporting the daily activities involves updating the planning parameter values.
  • You will be working on the optimization for the delivery service and inventory level for products delivered to all distribution centers.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain

 

Experience:

  • At least 2-4 years of material master, supply chain and SAP experience in an international working environment.

 

Technical Skills / Competencies:                                                                                                           

  • Good analytical and computer skills to manage large data sets.
  • database management (Excel, Access, SQL, Oracle)

 

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Results-driven
