Product Manager Lead, Autonomy Tools & Infrastructure

About the Role

You will lead the product group responsible for building tools and data infrastructure at Nuro. You will help create innovative, generation-defining, best-in-industry infrastructure that will shape the way that Autonomous Vehicle Development (and robotics development) happens. 

Product areas you will be responsible for include:

• Simulation: replay and synthetic AV simulation that realistically models sensor outputs, and agent interactive behavior
• Evaluation: full-stack and component-level evaluation tooling that provides rapid feedback to developers on the performance, robust across all necessary domains.
• Data Infrastructure: extract insights from simulation and real-world test data, including: curating validation sets, automated fault-mining, automated out-of-distribution detection

• Validation: infrastructure necessary to ensure that our software is safe, performant, and ready to deploy on-road

In addition to driving the overall vision for tools & infrastructure, this is a management position. You will be expected to guide the work of an existing team of 4 PMs, and continue to recruit and expand the team over time.

About You

• 4+ years of PM or Engineering Technical Leadership Experience
• Experience with developing one or more of the following kinds of products:
• Simulation: synthetic perception; agent behavior modeling; simulation validation
• Safety-critical systems that require significant testing & validation
• Building developer workflows & tooling designed around experimentation & iteration at very large scale
• Experience with originating and launching net new products 
• Prior management experience is a plus
