Hivemind Edge/Perception: The Perception group at Shield AI performs all research and development to enable robust perception for our robots. This includes state-estimation, sensing, mapping and semantic understanding of the environment. 

What you'll do:

• Work with colleagues to design, build and maintain high performance software libraries and pipelines for machine learning. 
• Track recent advances in the state of the art in the areas of modern supervised learning for sparse and large datasets 
• Learn and apply best practices for state of the art machine learning development. 

Required qualifications:

• Must be a rising Senior, rising Master’s or PhD graduate, preparing to graduate Spring 2024 
• Degree of Focus: One of Computer science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Robotics or similar field. 
• You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills
