Software Engineer III

The Device Platform team is the big front door to the Lytx Data Platform, providing the raw material to deliver our industry-leading Telematics and Safety Products. Our solutions span embedded systems, sensors, machine learning, cloud and mobile technologies; our team creates solutions across those technologies to deliver superior products.

You’ll Get To:

• Rapidly prototype, deploy, and test new solutions within our market 
• Build out scalable solutions to manage data ingest and real-time status of close to a million devices 
• Own and operate scalable production services and user interface 
• Full stack engineering and development 
• Develop and test new solutions that enhance our position within our markets. 
• Passionate about learning and helping others 

What You’ll Need:

• Demonstrated experience utilizing common Object-Oriented Design patterns to design and implement web-based software 
• 2 + years of experience with C# or other OOP languages such as Java etc. 
• 2 + years of experience using web technology frameworks from languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc. 
• 2 + years’ experience developing web services such as RESTful etc. 
• 2 years of experience with NoSQL or SQL databases. 
• 2 + years implementing Unit Testing and Software Quality Best Practices 
• Key contributor to successful product releases 
• A passion for working on all tiers (web, services, data) 
• Experience working with dynamic Agile teams and driving for results 
• Comfortable working across teams

Preferred  

• Angular 2x and up 
• C# or Java
• RESTful APIs 
• Messaging experience such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The expected hiring salary for this position is:
