Job Description

Join us in driving digitalization and automation within the Electrified Motion Business Unit at Bosch. We are a highly motivated and interconnected team, committed to developing solutions that make automobiles more efficient, safer, and comfortable. Our mission is to lead the digital transformation in our Electrical Drives business unit, both locally and globally. We work in close collaboration with various corporate functions to establish an ecosystem for data extraction and processing, aimed at creating significant value from data through data governance, architecture, data engineering, and data science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generative AI Application Development: Support the design, development, and testing of a generative AI application
• Requirement Gathering: Communicate with various business departments to collect and document requirements
• Data Management: Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and annotation tasks, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and best practices for data handling and IT security
• Technical Implementation: Support the technical design and implementation of the application both in the cloud and on-premises.
• Prompt Engineering: Analyze and interpret results to iteratively improve the chatbot's performance.
• Collaborative Projects: Participate in discussions, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities within the team. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, data science, and IT, to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms and processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with domain and AI experts, IT professionals, and our international team to understand requirements, address challenges, and drive the implementation of new Generative AI applications.

Qualifications

Professional Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in studies of Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or comparable fields.
• High affinity for IT, software development, and/or Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages, especially Python, ideally combined with experience in cloud solutions such as MS Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, neural networks, and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Personal Competences:

• Strong teamwork skills and high motivation.
• Willingness to learn and a strong enthusiasm for exploring new areas of responsibility.
• High analytical and conceptual skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Independent and structured working style.
