About the Position

The Lead Data Engineer will design, build, & maintain multiple performant data pipelines & ETL/ETL flows against massive datasets.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Lead the creation of python data pipelines that quickly move large amounts of data into both a legacy PHP system & a new python-based system
• Demonstrate mastery of multiple databases such as MongoDB or MySQL
• Develop software using PHP
• Ensure data accuracy & reliability by adhering to data security best practices

What You Should Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Comp Sci, Engineering, or a closely related field
• 18 months of experience in a data science or data engineering position

Benefits

Location and Compensation

The Lead Data Engineer is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package (more detail below). Telecommuting is an option. The starting salary for this position is $92,186 - $120,000 and is commensurate with experience.
