Cloud Data Engineer - GCP Data Processing Specialist

From experience, the ideal candidate will have:

• Experience developing and troubleshooting internet-scale, production-grade data processing systems in Google Cloud with a focus on selecting appropriate tools to tackle the business problem at scale
• Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Apache Beam,or Apache Flink SSIS, or Informatica
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform data pipeline technologies such as Google Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Workflows, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery
• Extensive experience creating data architectures such as data warehouses and data lakes using native GCP technologies such as Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage or with 3rd party tools such as Snowflake or Redshift
• Extensive experience using both RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Google BigTable, Microsoft SQL Server, and Google Firestore
• Strong proficiency in writing and tuning SQL queries
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, or other BI visualization tools is a plus
• Experience working with Change Data Capture (CDC) tools such as Debezium, Alooma, or Datastream is a plus
• Experience with GCP AI and ML platforms is a plus
• Great verbal and written communication skills
