Job description:

Connatix is looking to bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of its data, processes, systems and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and teams make better decisions. This role may best be described as a business intelligence engineer.

You will be part of a data science team that is focused on innovating the company's algorithms and flows with data driven decisions. You will take responsibility for deriving insights from our master data set, developing reports, and highlighting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, ability to learn the business dynamics, experience with visual metaphors or specific charts and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. 

Main responsibilities: 

• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources;
• Developing reports and analysis from single or multiple systems;
• Issue hypothesis regarding the business dynamics, compile measurements and present them into eloquent visualizations;
• Interpreting results, and incorporating these into a fluent narrative;
• Training end users on reading new reports and dashboards;
• Develop and maintain tools with up-to-date data where reports should be hosted;
• Providing technical expertise on data cleansing;

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science, statistics or visual arts;
• A minimum of 2 years experience in Tableau / Power BI or similar tools;
• Experience in the following is a plus:
• Visualization tools and concepts (Excel, Kibana, Pandas, Matplotlib, etc..);
• Statistics;
• Story-telling;
• Programing skills in Python or other programing  languages is a big plus 
• High-level experience in processes for manipulating large scale databases is a plus;
• High-level written, verbal and presentation skills;
• Eloquence and story-telling abilities;
• Fluency in English;
