Are you a customer-obsessed builder with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential? Do you have the business savvy, AIML background, and sales skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers? Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses? Do you want to join one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon Web Services (AWS)? Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) AIML team as a Business Development Specialist!

As a Worldwide BD Specialist, you will own the growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for an AWS service worldwide. You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS offerings. BD Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for a specific AWS service. As a BD Specialist, you will own, develop, and implement technical go-to-market plans and sales plays for new or existing services, and drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities. You will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.

The WWSO AIML team positions AWS as the best place to run pre-trained AI and Machine Learning workloads. Our team helps customers leverage AI and ML to address business challenges unlocking new revenue sources, making them more efficient, and customer focused. As a Business Development Specialist on the AIML team, you will create scaled GTM motions for Artificial Intelligence services to expand adoption of these services into new or existing customer segments. This position is focused on our portfolio of language-based AI services and will focus on scaling these services worldwide across a variety of channels.

The WWSO works backwards from customers to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist sales, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you’ll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.

This position is virtual and can be based in California in the United States.
