Here's what you will do
Our Data Analytics Architects identify, design and implement the tools clients need to unlock their data and deliver value. Combining delivery best practices with the latest technologies, we help solve complex business challenges. Typically, our technical data work contains significant elements of defining, designing and building data architectures, security solutions and data platforms as well as more user-facing data analysis and visualisation.
For our technical consultants, we expect a significant level of hands-on experience with data-related technologies and a desire to maintain a balance between technical and business skills as they grow their careers within the firm.
This is a permanent role within our Technology function. We consider flexible ways of working, that allow the best outcomes for our people and clients. Working closely with our clients is key to successful outcomes, and so travel both UK and international is a requirement.
Responsibilities
Modern Data Analytics Architecture
Have a strong appreciation of modern cloud data analytics architectures
Define and articulate architectural patterns to meet clients complex data needs
Experienced in the data capabilities of one or more of the major cloud providers (ideally with supporting certifications)
Have an appreciation of the analytics product landscape across cloud native / open source / commercial products
Design scalable architectures able to grow with a customer’s demands for data services
Define data project delivery roadmaps and timelines
Data Analytics Engineering
Support the build and delivery of modern cloud analytics platforms using modern platform delivery methods (agile / DevOps / CICD / Infrastructure as code)
Advise on data analytics integration with wider enterprise systems and business services
Design appropriate data models to support business analytical use-cases
Deliver outcome-focused use cases and business value through a combination of platform delivery and analytics engineering
Data Visualisation and Reporting
Deploy and integrate data visualisation, reporting and dashboard technologies to enable the presentation of data to end customers for consumption
Advise on the build and delivery of data visualisations in a controlled and repeatable way
Machine Learning & MLOps
Have an understanding of the architectural requirements of enterprise ready ML
Design architectural patterns to support the full ML lifecycle
Define appropriate guardrails to manage the risks of ML
Data Governance, Quality & Management
Have a widespread appreciation of data governance, quality and management considerations that should be factored into the build of an analytics platform, and its wider adoption within an organisation
Be aware of the various data management tooling the marketplace and typical deployment/usage patterns
Data Project Management
Support cross-functional teams applying agile and waterfall methodologies to plan and deliver a wide range of data-focused projects;
Be aware of the availability of and use cases for a wide variety of products within the data ecosystem and their potential applicability to clients;
Map existing data sources, design high-level data workflows and identify likely optimisation challenges;
Develop roadmaps and strategies for data initiatives
Our Data Consultants also:
Work with the Technical Pillar at Credera to develop the maturity of our data knowledge and collateral, supporting pre-sales and QA of technical engagements;
Maintain and increase technical skills through online learning, training, attendance at events and monitor market trends and developments;
Act in Credera's best interests and demonstrate the company’s values of Integrity, Intelligence, Personal Touch, Independence, Tenacity and Pragmatism.
Who you are?
Consulting knowledge and experiences
Prior experience of delivering complex engagements either as a technical leader or a senior technical member of a team;
Experience of full delivery life cycle coupled with the ability to deliver significant impact, quickly;
Proven ability to develop strong relationships and be able to influence colleagues, senior client stakeholders, partners, suppliers;
Demonstrable knowledge of delivering business value to clients through the use of data technologies;
Attributes (include skills, behaviours, attitudes)
Able to work collaboratively;
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
Self-starter, with a desire to learn business subjects;
Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations;
Strong communication, presentation and business writing skills along with the ability to manage and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
