RS21 is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to help stand up and operate an Artificial Intelligence Cetner of Excellence (AICOE), which will serve as the central hub for AI initiatives to support efficient operations for our client. The Project Coordinator will be part of a team that will establish the framework to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the AICOE, help the workforce leverage AI/ML capabilities, and enable our client to optimize operations, enhance decision-making, and improve day-to-day processes.

This role is responsible for eliciting enterprise requirements, tracking and reporting current AI/ML projects, evaluating their return on investment (ROI), and providing detailed analysis and reporting to inform leadership. The Project Coordinator will help guide future AI/ML investments and projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and maximization of value and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of AI/ML Efforts:
    • Serve as the central point of contact for all AI/ML initiatives.
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather and document enterprise requirements for AI/ML projects.
    • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Project Tracking and Reporting:
    • Maintain a comprehensive database of all ongoing AI/ML projects, including timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Track project progress and milestones, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project plans.
    • Generate regular status reports for leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas requiring attention.
  • ROI Evaluation and Impact Assessment:
    • Conduct thorough evaluations of AI/ML projects to assess their return on investment (ROI).
    • Analyze project outcomes to demonstrate their value and impact on the organization.
    • Develop metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of AI/ML initiatives.
  • Analysis and Reporting for Leadership:
    • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on current AI/ML projects to inform decision-making by leadership.
    • Prepare presentations and briefings for senior management, outlining project performance, ROI, and strategic recommendations.
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks associated with AI/ML investments.
  • Shepherding Future AI/ML Investments:
    • Assist in the strategic planning and prioritization of future AI/ML projects.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to identify new AI/ML opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
    • Guide the development of project proposals, including scope, objectives, and resource requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in project coordination or management, preferably within AI/ML or technology-driven environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and present information to leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and technologies is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials.
  • Experience in a national laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau).

 

RS21 is committed to transparent and fair compensation. The final salary within this range will be determined based on relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits include flexible paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance with a generous employer contribution to premiums for employees and their dependents, a 401k plan with a 3% employer safe harbor contribution, and more.  

Pay range$65,000—$75,000 USD
