About the role

Wallbox is committed to become a data driven company, not only for improving our decision making processes but also for helping us drive better our product development and incorporate data into our existing products or even create new business models.

We started our data journey just one year ago and it has already been an amazing drive! We’ve built a passionate and vibrant team, organised in a hub & spoke model, with roles such as data analysts, data engineers and analytics engineers.

Also we’ve been building a modern data stack, with technologies like Snowflake, Airflow, Fivetran, DBT, Tableau and Databricks.

In order to operate this ever growing data platform on a daily basis we need someone who takes this responsibility so that the development team can focus on extending and improving the platform.

As a Data Operations Intern you will:

  • Manage all users in our tools like Snowflake, Databricks and Tableau (creating and removing users, assigning proper permissions)
  • Ensure that our data warehouse models have the proper tagging for security, criticality, ownership and privacy issues
  • Add new data sources to our data warehouse either via Fivetran/Airbyte or Google Sheets and document them
  • Monitor our platform costs on a weekly basis to detect unexpected issues and propose optimizations
  • Review all incoming requests coming through our Service Desk portal and do a first triage to refine them and forward them to the appropriate team member
  • Review all runtime and test errors and do a first triage to identify the root cause and solve it or forward to the appropriate team member

  • Working experience with a BI tool like Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik or Looker
  • Working experience with an issue tracking system like Jira
  • Working experience with Amazon Web Services/Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with task orchestration tools (ex.Airflow, Luigi)
  • Experience working with a modern data warehouse (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar).
  • Be familiar with software development best practices and their applications to analytics (version control, testing, CI/CD, automation).
