Roles and Responsibilities

This is an exciting role for a smart, creative person with strong management, commercial and consulting experience and a highly technical background to join the management team of our Applied Data Science function. Your work will include:

  • Managing a team of Data Scientists working on new innovations and client projects across multiple domains

  • Working closely with commercial managers to handle new and existing relationships with clients from a broad range of industries to facilitate the delivery of consultancy services utilising the causaLens technology

  • Working with product teams to help transform customer feedback into feature ideas.

  • Driving customer success outcomes (upsell, renewals etc) from a technical perspective

Requirements

  • Strong academic record and advanced data science experience

  • Significant experience of leading or managing technically sophisticated teams in a consultancy environment

  • Experience of data science projects across a range of industries and organisations

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator with a high level of business acumen

  • Highly capable, self-motivated, collaborative and personable

  • High integrity and drive

  • Naturally curious and effective problem solver

  • Ability to effectively work independently in a fast-moving environment

Logistics

Our interview process consists of a screening interview and a "Day 0" which involves a tech challenge designed for Director of DS Consultancy role and 3 interviews with the team (either in the office or virtually, whatever you feel comfortable with).
