Itinerary (About the role)We are looking for a savvy Senior Data Analyst to join our Product Analytics team! This role will require someone to be an inquisitive, detail-oriented, independent analytics expert that thrives on building data solutions and analytics tools, uncovering trends, and patterns that will help improve our product. The Product Analytics team is dedicated to building the analytics tools, data, pipelines, reporting, and metrics that allow us to effectively and efficiently evaluate and improve the overall performance of our product, Cirrus. 
You will join a dedicated team of data analysts, data scientists, and airline domain experts responsible for ensuring that our product teams and end-users are equipped with the information to understand and action all opportunities relating to driving more revenue with the Cirrus Revenue Operating System™.

What will your journey look like at FLYR? (Responsibilities)

  • Lead the intra- and cross-team collaboration to identify opportunities, test solutions, and make recommendations to improve our product
  • Develop analytics tools and data to support customer-facing teams in the measurement of customer revenue performance and deep learning model behavior
  • Apply SQL skills in Google BigQuery and Visualize data using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Google Data Studio
  • Identify and interpret trends in large and complex data sets
  • Engage directly with customers and stakeholders through presentations, ad hoc touch-points, Q&A, and explanation of model performance and behaviors
  • Work closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to design and implement product changes and communicate opportunities for product improvements

What can you pack for this trip? (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or similar quantitative analytics role
  • Intellectually curious and never stop learning about your industry, and you never stop asking and trying to answer why
  • Expert in raw data to uncover proper drivers several layers deep and discover actionable insights
  • Proven experience in taking proactive ownership of analytical tools and applying a product-market fit framework to prioritize your work
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Team-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Experienced collaborating cross-functionally internally and externally with partners, and providing sound recommendations backed by data
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL, you know your way around analytical and aggregate functions, complex joins, window functions, and are confident in wrangling all types of data in SQL
  • It would be great if you have experience in the following, yet it's not required: Looker or Tableau, airline revenue management, user/platform engagement analytics, machine learning online validation, casual analysis
