This service is completely based in AI using multimodal (text, vision, audio) - we aim to enhance cooking skills and provide personalised coaching experiences using advanced AI models. You will be joining a small, agile team working on innovative projects combining technology and culinary expertise.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Prompt Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI and machine learning, specifically focusing on prompt engineering and fine-tuning AI models for personalised cooking coaching. The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate with a strong interest in AI, machine learning, and culinary arts.
This paid internship requires a minimum commitment of 6 weeks with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and refine AI prompts for personalised cooking coaching.
- Assist in training and fine-tuning AI models using existing transcriptions and data.
- Participate in the iterative process of prompt engineering to enhance AI performance and accuracy.
- Conduct assessments and planning sessions to create personalised coaching plans based on learner feedback and video sessions.
- Generate and deliver content that includes scientific reasoning, instructional themes, and personalised feedback.
- Work closely with our chefs and engineering team to ensure the AI models replicate the expertise of professional chefs.
- Engage in problem-solving and domain-specific research to improve AI model performance.
Requirements
- Availability to work on-site in Bristol for the duration of the internship.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to practical problems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience with AI or machine learning projects, whether academic or personal, is highly desirable.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to take the initiative and drive projects forward.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong interest and some experience in LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents. Experience with frameworks for developing LLM applications is a plus (e.g. LangChain, AutoGen, Guidance, or similar).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Interest in culinary arts and cooking is a plus.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage based on degree level, skills and relevant experience.
