As a Data Scientist in our team, you will spend time contributing to our data standardisation workflows and building ETL pipelines with R, python etc.

Requirements

Experience working with OMOP, FHIR or CDISC data is essential for this role. Candidates without this experience will not be reviewed for the position.

We are looking for a Data Scientist with working experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences to join our team today.

You have demonstrable knowledge and experience in data science and specifically you have experience in:

  • 2+ years experience working with Python and/or R
  • Experience working with Common Data Models, like OMOP/FHIR/CDISC data
  • Experience with EHR data
  • Experience working with Standard Medical Vocabularies, like SNOMED, ICD10
  • Problem-solving attitude and customer-oriented
  • Have strong communication skills, both oral and written, with attention to detail
  • BSc in Life Sciences or Computer Science, MSc/PhD in a quantitative discipline will be preferred

Additionally, it is and advantage if you have:

  • Experience creating interactive applications either through Python, R Shiny or similar frameworks
  • Experience in analysing clinical trial data


Candidates that are able to share a sample code will be given priority. Please add as a collaborator with read access the Github user lifebit-workable in a repository of your choice that you can share code sample of your work, relative to the job role you are applying for.
