Our Data Analyst Intern will collaborate with a variety of different teams including the Supply Chain and the Planning & Demand teams, and work with our Software teams to ensure we have the most accurate reporting tools and systems. We're looking for someone who is excited about data analytics and using data to drive results!

What you can expect from us: Workshops and Trainings: You will take part in an intern-wide workshop called “Spreetail Connect” where you will be developed as a professional, take deep dives into our company/departments, and learn new technology/tools. Real-Life Experience: The work that you will do at Spreetail is meaningful and makes a lasting impact. You will work alongside our full-time team and take part in tasks and projects with them. Networking Opportunities: We partner with the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development to connect us with local companies to provide networking opportunities. Throughout the summer, you will meet other interns through projects and activities. In-Depth Onboarding: You’ll take a deep dive into each of our departments, learn about our history and vision, and take part in hands-on projects in order to be as prepared as possible to take on your new role. Our Data Analyst Intern will collaborate with a variety of different teams including the Supply Chain and the Planning & Demand teams, and work with our Software teams to ensure we have the most accurate reporting tools and systems. We're looking for someone who is excited about data analytics and using data to drive results!
How you will achieve success:
- Provide reporting, modeling, and dashboards for the Supply Chain Fulfillment Center network; focused on fulfillment center productivity, process improvement, and quality.
- Partner with stakeholders as needed to drive change in practice, process, or inputs to drive efficiency in the network.
- Identify gaps in data capture; ensure that we have the data needed to make the best decisions.
- Proactively review the network for future impacts; understand how those changes will impact transportation. Make necessary changes to quickly react to any changes.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- You have intermediate-level computer proficiency, specifically Excel.
- You have a strong understanding of budgeting, plan forecasting, and analysis.
- You are proficient in building models and business cases with business partners.
- You have experience in Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
At Spreetail, collaboration is a key component of creating a successful internship program. Interns are required to work at our Lincoln offices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the first and last month of the summer internship. If you do not reside in Lincoln, we ask that you are willing to commute two days a week to work alongside full-time Spreetailers.
