Our Product Intelligence data pipeline is continually onboarding and analyzing a massive amount of new food, nutrition, and consumer products onto our platform. This requires ongoing data attribute creation, analysis, data accuracy, and maintaining rigorous food, nutrition, and product data standards and attribution.  

To support our data pipeline, the Associate Data Analyst, Research & Attribution, will help support and contribute to the planning, evaluation, and execution of our data attribution strategy and attribute roadmap across nutrition, health, dietary, ingredient, sustainability, and similar data attribute areas. This role will work across Product Intelligence to gather project requirements in the area of attribute development and will help aggregate and organize applicable resources to achieve product launch goals. This role will help drive continued growth in the area of our product attribution capabilities and will support the development of strategic and tactical actions needed to execute our roadmap.

  • Support go-forward data initiatives and planning across our data attribute roadmap, including nutrition, health, dietary, ingredient, and similar data attribute areas
  • Support the creation and maintenance of documentation and communication requirements for our attribute library and attribute roadmap
  • Research and identify market needs and opportunities (future products and attributes) for Product Intelligence working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use data and insight gathered from market research, client discussions, and other customer feedback inputs to help recommend and develop attribute requirements
  • Document the Product Intelligence roadmap and coordinate with key stakeholders to execute the roadmap using internal and external feedback as well as research-driven insights to guide decision making
  • Collaborate with internal teams on project definition, feasibility, and approval process
  • Support the creation of project plans, which include project scope, objectives, deliverables, key milestones, timelines, schedules, internal and external resources, project dashboards, etc.
  • Provide domain expertise on product attribution and support internal stakeholders and clients through trainings, articles, webinars and customer engagements
  • Understand CPG/retail market trends, anticipate new opportunities and determine necessary adjustments in product plans and data attribute roadmaps
  • Support marketing and product launch plans to achieve product and business objectives and consensus through a product and brand strategy perspective

What you should have

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Nutrition, Food Science, Dietetics, Food Studies/Anthropology of Food, Science, Data Analytics, or related fields
  • 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a Food/Nutrition, Product Management, Data/Analytics organization
  • ​​Familiarity in food, CPG, dietary supplements and/or personal care product labeling is a plus. Bonus points for regulatory knowledge around product labeling practices.
  • Background in the grocery retail or CPG (Consumer Product) industry is a plus
  • Proven ability in scoping, planning, executing and controlling project work
  • Demonstrated skill with requirements analysis, process analysis, process modeling, and documenting workflows
  • Self-motivated; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure, adhere to deadlines, deliver high-quality results and manage competing demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to instill confidence with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced data environment
