General Management Consultant, Junior

Key Role:  
Serve as a management consultant supporting clients. Provide data analysis, project management, and writing and communications services as a member of a team providing real property and infrastructure analytical support to a client. Apply understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis to improve organizational data reporting, data management, and analytical processes. Assist in building data analysis and visualization capability across various projects and coordinate various data analytics efforts across the team. Identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and automation of services provided to the client. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years of experience in management consulting, change management, strategic planning and execution, communications, or data analysis in a professional or internship environment
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • 1+ years of experience with analytical-based work and data-driven decision making in a professional or internship environment
  • 1+ years of experience with management consulting techniques, including client interviews, requirements gathering, mock-up creation, problem-solving, and translating client needs into deliverables, in a professional or internship environment
  • Ability to develop and present reports, dashboards, and decks that convey complex ideas to clients and internal staff
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks, prioritize as necessary, and deliver high-quality products
  • Ability to craft and deliver a compelling, clear, and concise narrative to inform or influence action on key business decisions and major change initiatives
  • Ability to execute administrative tasks, including tracking and organizing actions and facilitating meetings to support program productivity and effectiveness
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience using and developing PowerApps or implementing Power Automate
  • Experience in R, Python, or SQL
  • Experience with project and financial data
  • Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD), Customer Experience (CX), User Experience (UX), or User Interface (UI) design 
  • Knowledge of change management techniques 
  • Ability to display an interest in infrastructure and facilities management
  • Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills 
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Management, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
