Job Description
Vuori is looking for a Director, Product Analytics to create analytical solutions and data insights for the Product Merchandising and Planning teams and ensure connectivity within enterprise applications. This role involves working collaboratively with various product teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to support decision-making and operational efficiency. Most of the work will be focused on the Product Merchandising and Planning domains, so experience in data analytics within apparel retail is preferred. This role will own the design, development and delivery of insights & analytics to ensure the technical requirements support the Merchandising and Planning business needs through tool/template creation and software applications. The Director of Product Analytics will play a critical role in enabling transparency, accountability, and operational performance while creating data democratization via self-service reporting at Vuori.
Qualifications

- Build and own analytic and visualization tools and business semantic layer driving self-service and curated reports/dashboards
- Introduce and execute innovative & proactive analytical techniques and technologies enabling business analytic capabilities that drive ROI
- Collaborate with business partners to understand technical needs, gather requirements, map to existing systems, define and create new solutions.
- Propose solutions using applications, business processes or both, to support business growth.
- Lead to drive overarching strategy on tools, process and analytics across Merchandising and Planning
- Create and maintain process documentation and lead end user training, troubleshooting, business consultation.
- Manage projects to implement system enhancements and new enterprise application solutions.
- Experience with system integrations, data flows, ensuring system connectivity across systems and applications.
- Ability to translate technical issues in simple terms to business users – some understanding of programming techniques and infrastructure, along with knowledge of the full software development and project management lifecycle.
- Strong problem solving, collaboration, communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with team members and cross functional partners.
- Analyze and evaluate existing business applications, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and develop solutions to address them.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in data management, and proactively implement relevant improvements to our processes.
- Collaborate with a team of employees and consultants to deliver best in class analytic solutions as part of business analytic capability driven product team.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Business, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science and Data Science)
- 10+ years of analytical and operational experience, preferably in the retail space.
- 3+ years of experience working in the apparel industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel concepts, Access, Shopify, D365, SQL, and/or macros with the capability of developing templates and tools for teams to utilize.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Someone who is a self-starter - they can take general guidance and quickly/efficiently work through building interactive tools to support the Product Merchandising team.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Cloud Environment: Microsoft Azure preferred, AWS/GCP accepted
- Data Management: Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Synapse, DataBricks, Mulesoft, Synapse
- BI & Visualization (Semantic Layer): Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau
- Programming/Scripting: Python
- Agile Tools: Jira, Azure Dev Ops

The salary range for this role is $200,000 per year - $215,000 per year.
This role is bonus eligible.
